Enjoyable day but wow how this bear has changed since my last visit!!!!
All fish came to a size 16 green meanie ( nymph of my own creation ). Few bumped takes as well and some really fast takes to a size 16 Klink. Biggest oos brownie over 1lb and biggest grayling around the 1lb mark .

Mark Barker caught 2 salmon. 4lbs and 7lbs. Great day.

15lb Hen Salmon - slightly coloured taken from the Wall Pool at noon on a 1 inch Dee Monkey. Safely returned

river in good condition. barbel to 8lb. great day's fishing on a beautiful beat.

10 Barbel, 1 Chub

Nothing caught - water still high, fast and coloured so wading was very limited to near the bank on upper beats.

1 hen fish caught in Ty Mawr at 4.30pm in cloudy conditions. The river was quite high, approx 2ft on the Llansephan guage, and clear. The fish measured 37 inches, fairly coloured but not black. Caught on an Oliver Burch tube. Hooray! My first Wye salmon.

Not many swims, steep banks, but nice area to fish. 1x Chub first thing in the morning, followed by a missed bite, and then nothing.

River looked good for a few fish normal levels but still a little colour .Fished a swim in the middle of the beat. Had to wait until 4.30pm for a bite which resulted in a nice barbel. Hooked another next cast but unfortunately the book pulled at the net. Feeder fished pellet with mixed size pellet and hemp in the feeder was used.
