Rising river again today but that didn't put the Barbel off, we caught 29 Barbel best fish PB Wye Barbel 11lb 6oz.

29 Barbel

River high and rising. Debris coming down all the time, so tricky conditions. Swims accessible though. Good sized barbel to 9lb. Excellent fish. Caught on boillie.

8 Barbel

Feeder fished pellets on flooded river which was 2ft higher than the day before. I tried smelly paste and flavoured luncheon meat but no bites to big baits.

1 Barbel

2 meters up and rising. Beautiful peaceful scenery so the catch was not important

2 Barbel, 3 Chub

The river water levels were still high, but we had a much more productive day.

6 Barbel

River very high and rising , difficult fishing only managed 1 barbel and 1 chub. Very nice stretch will definitely come back .

A 9.2 barbel in the morning and an 8lber in the afternoon. Conditions looked good for a few more fish but not to be.

2 Barbel

We ended the day with 20 barbel which included one angler catching barbel weighing 10lb 4oz and 10lb 2oz.
