Great day up the resovoir caught 6 nice size rainbow up near the tower . Seen 2 anglers all day very quiet. Returned 2 brown trout. All caught on bottom using polly ball and worm. Obviously they have stocked last week. Unable to fish in the cove on other side. I wonder when they will repair the road its one of my favourite places to fish. So come on Welsh water please get it done thanks.

Tried the upstream half. More difficult to negotiate the undergrowth than the downstream half . Slightly coloured water. Cold and windy. Tried various nymphs with no result and then saw a rise behind me. Switched to dry and got a take on the first catch - lost it!
