A big water today but not too coloured. Fishable water was hard to find, though. Showers, some of which were pretty heavy with occasional very welcome sunshine. Periodic hatches of olives, March Brown and occasional Iron Blue. Four trout 8 to 13 inches caught and returned on a variety of nymphs and dries. Woods at the upstream end very pretty with beeches freshly in leaf and bluebells. Great to see the Dippers too.
