River was up a good metre and pulling through hard. 5oz feeder was just holding bottom in near side flow. Lost a barbel in the afternoon so would have been 3 barbel. Ended with 2 barbel 8Ib 2oz and 8Ib 3oz. Chub were all between 3Ib 8oz and 5Ib 9oz.

Good days fishing and can’t wait to get back.

Water high but clearing nicely. All fish on dry fly in sustained afternoon hatches of various upwings. Best fish 18”.

Water was belting through so fishing close in 20 yards from the bank, i used a 4oz feeder filled with hinders barbell bomz groundbait and krill hookbait. Lovely stretch of river and plenty of fish present. I had 5 barbell and 2 chubb and lost a couple of barbell as well. Great stretch of river and will certainly be back

4 rainbow trout caught on spinners all returned. All around the 2lb mark.
1 perch also caught on spinner. Fished in several places but all fish came in small spells. Perch and 2 trout caught in the bay in 15 minutes. An hour later 2 trout caught in 5 minutes in different location. It pays to move around
