Fantastic day on a stunning stretch with plenty of accessible swims in the current conditions. Biggest chub was 4.5lb, and biggest barbel was circa 7lb. Will be back for sure!

Well we had a fantastic day on the river wye . Spent the day feeder fishing , with great rewards. Barbel from 7lb to 11.4oz what a whopper. :) and chub from 3lb to 5lb .

River conditions looked good, banks slippery from the recent rain and flood water, however all quiet for most of the day until 4pm and then 3 barbel before dark. All barbel caught on spicy sausage boillie 6lb 5oz, 6lb 12oz and 7lb 13oz all in great shape. Three dace caught trotting a float whist giving the ledger a rest.
