Lovely beat but your map for parking 3/4 is out of date. The road downstream to the parking can't be accessed from Sennybridge as there is an army base 'in the way'. Parking 3/4 needs to be accessed by crossing the Usk from the A40 in advance of Stennybridge

Downstream breeze made conditions challenging. We had 2 trout on the nymph. Pleasant day only slightly marred by some tourists swimming in the river.

The water looked about right, but I only saw small trout. Fished 2.30 to 8.0. Caught one of about 6oz.

A brilliant day on this beautiful stretch of the Wye was enjoyed by me and my girlfriend. Biggest fish of the day included a 5lb chub and an 11lb barbel with a bonus dace that was in lovely condition.
A shame that people think it is acceptable to leave dog foul on the banks and the fallen trees upstream from the gardens make the top pegs all but unfishable but still a great beat for fish quantity and quality.

Very enjoyable day on this beat. Caught in the fast water at the bottom of the stretch and the slower water nearer the bridge. The overcast conditions and a bit of extra water no doubt helped. The 3 others were eels.

1/2 pound brown trout caught on a duo rig, small hair and copper nymph in fast water just upstream from the hut. Returned alive. Coolish weather. Few risers. Fished up to the gravel pool with a nymphing setup with no luck.

Lovely afternoon. Instructions on fining the parking space were spot on!
