3 barbel 3lb 12oz, 6lb, 8lb 2 chub 4lb and 3lb 8oz

5 x grayling 12-15 inches plus various out of season trout and parr , dry Red Tag and Grayling Steel Blue. River looked in fine condition now but it was surprisingly hard work - very little natural hatching or rising. One good pull from a salmon on a wet Red Tag.

No fish caught. WUF note: The track down to the river was very muddy and slippery. Only just managed to get back up at the end of the day.

Fined down to near normal levels but fish were elusive in the upper part. different story at the lower end where flows were a little steadier and plenty of fish on the near side on pellet
