fishing a bit hard going, but when you do catch they fight like demons...good days result

River looked in good shape and we fished the swims upstream. Some nice barbel on pellet feeder and certainly a venue we will visit again

Different river conditions due to levels and debris. Only 50% of the bank space is accessible due to being overgrown with trees.

5 barbel from two rods fishing early afternoon to evening. Three six pounders, one big seven and biggest 8.6. All on meadow swims past dead tree. Agree with previous comments about track down to car park. On our way back we did have to take several attempts to get up the hill - in dry conditions (not a 4x4). Would rather park by gate and have a long walk and a bit less stress after a good afternoons fishing..

River unfishable. Drove to the Elan, bought a couple of £10 tickets and passed a very pleasant afternoon.

4 Barbel all to M.T. - his first ever barbel after two previous blank trips in flood condition. Good result in challenging conditions. All on pellet and corn.
