Caught two trout on worm kept 1 released 1

Lovely morning, just me and the dog and one van camper. Fished using savage gear saltwater minnows 7g 12.5 cm 3 rainbows about a pound and a brownie about half a pound all returned alive and well. Also had seven small perch at one point I could see over a dozen small perch chasing the lure all returned alive and well.

Arrived for an evening session at about 5.30. Beautiful evening, water had good colour and looked promising. Only one fish about 7lb for the session on feeder using big pellets for hook bait. Fair bit of weed about but not too problematic really.

The small dirty rise has gone and we looked forward to some great trout fishing. Aaah but the hot bright conditions made thing difficult and the”clegs” made things worse. But the last half hour made up for it with a small spinner fall and a good few fish looking up.
