Excellent few hours fishing. Fished from 1pm until Around 6pm. Most fish came to french leader or clink and dink. Chub all taken on a BWO dry fly. Lost a very big fish. Don’t know what it was but it stayed on the bottom and then wrapped me around something and got off. Will be returning for a go at the salmon.

3 rainbow trouts caught and taken. Really good to be back on the Usk after 10 years away from fishing. Was annoyed with the group on the canoes making so much noise but a great day in all.

Did a short evening session which produced plenty of bites throughout. Fished feeder and pellet. Waders were essential for playing fish in amongst the rocks.
