We caught 6 Barbel to 7lbs & 9 Chub to 4lbs. Our last day on the Wye this year thanks WUF.

Despite the river being in pretty good shape still struggled to find the fish.Third swim produced the fish late on and all caught on flavoured meat ledgered close in .

Generally a good day ....9 barbel caught between three Angler’s plus two other fish.
Many thanks to Colin who recovered a lost landing net that had started heading for Monmouth!

2 Trout

Only a couple of swims on the lower end producing fish. Best barbel 8-10 and chub to 4-8 on feeder fished meat and pellet.

River 1 metre above summer levels, good strong flow and perfect colour.
Fish came throughout the day although we had to search for them by changing swims frequently. Largest fish 9lbs 12ozs
Disappointing lack of swims at the lower end of the beat. However, a very enjoyable day.

perfect conditions, river dropping. very good fishing in a lovely place.
