One of us had 3 trout and the other 2 had 2 each. Must have caught about 25 perch at the expense of many worms. Good day nonetheless!

A lovely few hours back on this little brook with enough fish rising to keep me thoroughly entertained, and a couple caught and released.

River is decent condition, good level and reasonable clarity, but did not see any salmon moving.

Opted for a later than usual fish today, got there at eleven, at the Whittern field pull in , and tackled up my trustee six foot , two weight rod . Nice weather conditions reading 16 in my truck and overcast, spot on !!!! Looked like d good trouting kinds day, or so I thought !!!!

Mooched down to the Hunton Bridge and river dropped back down, since I last fished here about five days ago , clear and with a reasonable flow too it !!@

Some Mayflies and olives flying around from midday, nice too see . And the trout were sporadically looking up , and prospected my sixteen Para Adam's had three nice feisty little fish on that ,nothing big today , all between seven and ten inches .

Two fish from the one deep pool in the Lyonshall Wood , good scrapers, but boy was it hard work today ,had a hunch perhaps someone had fished it earlier or sn otter had been on the prowl!!! Whatever it was fished nearly the full beat , fir the five fish ,one dropped , and one mistimed strike on the Adams , very very quiet indeed , seeing as the weather was perfect!!!! Cest la vie ,still a fun few hours ,always beats a long shift at work ha ha . . .

The Arrow could do with good flush through as the top end the algae is rotting on the river bed and rather pungent !!! Three good days heavy rain would sort it out ne thinks !!!! Five beauties to the net , and a good workout tabbing back to my truck ,cracking stuff , another day in paradise ,spot on !!!

First time to visit.... fished for 7 hours not 1 fish between us used worm and spinner.

Fished the first pool near parking and had 1 fish each then gave up as the access was terrible, needs alot of work to but has potential to be a great fishery.

A good day by the river! No fish caught but I was pleased to see a salmon jump in Biblins crib - some lovely fly water but needed to access the river with care as banks slippery with recent rain.
