greeted this morning with higher water this morning so our plans changed some what.
Nick caught of the lead in the top field where I caught in the first meadow.
Nick joined me later and demonstrated using the Bolo float in high water which unfortunately for him resulted in two big eels

Was told Wednesday that they stocking it Friday re booked and wasted money and time again. Worse place I've ever fished in my life.......was told they didn't stock because van broke down. NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Another good day, the fishing was tougher today, but still caught 6 to fill my ticket.
I kept 5 nice fish and released one as it was very small.
I caught 4 using a spinner and 2 ledgering worms.
Water level still low, but rising quickly after the rain we received.
Lots of house martins swooping low over the water eating the flies (one got so tired it landed on my rod for a rest and allowed me to pick it up), and plenty of other birdlife about too.
