A lot different from when we visited in September river up and water coloured. Conditions challenging with maybe not the right tackle for the job hence the catch return. Still wonderful place will return.

Fishing getting better as river drops.

4 Barbel, 11 Chub

Did not fish

Fly. Fished Gravel and New Catch. No fish seen or caught.

Fished legg meadow for the evening on pellet. Had nothing until two bites late on. Lost both fish from hook pulls.

This beat was just as good as the day before, despite the persistent rain, but we still had three 9lb Barbel out.

5 Barbel, 10 Chub

Another great Days fishing on the Wye! The weather was lovely and the fishing fantastic. Two nice Barbel and plenty of chub all taken on meat.

Did not fish

We could not fish at white house farm as the access to the river was a foot deep in mud and as we did not have a 4x4 car we did not want to get stuck in the field.
