Big disappointment after traveling 4hours to fish a so called prolific stretch. Maybe recent frosts didn’t help but tried a range of baits and methods to no avail. Pretty stretch but bank work needs addressing, not a place to go if mobility is a problem, not likely to return as a lot of money for 1 chub.

This return is for 3 anglers not 1 as stated. (actually 4 booked but only 3 fished)
A stinking hot day and low water made it a challenge. All the barbel came in the last couple of hours.

Frosty morning so difficult conditions and no fish.

No barbel due to temperature change I think. but the chub came along in the last hour of light nice beat will be back in the summer months.

Looks scenic but at least 90% of beat is ankle deep and crystal clear, with bright sunlight and no fish seen.

I thought the oos salmon was a record grayling!
