1 trout approx 1lb caught and returned, lost a good trout of about 2lb after it managed to shake the hook! Mostly euro nymphing heads of pools in the morning. Water temp 18°.

Spectacular beat. Building on what we learned in previous days, we concentrated on the faster water and hooked several Trout. Sadly, not one came to hand. I put it down to our barbless hooks, though lack of experience surely played a part as well.

Another enjoyable day at a peaceful location , four common carp caught off the surface on dog biscuit the biggest about 12lb .We have fished Trelough pool many times and have never been disappointed!

Nil return but only short period of fishing due to late arrival. River very low and in very poor condition. Lots of algae constantly covering feeder and hook length.

Water levels extremely low. Only 1 fish caught, even though fished for nearly 10 hours. It was really quiet and very few bites.
