Only fished for a couple of hours due to a family birthday. 1 fish seen in Biblins but otherwise quiet.

I fished through with the salmon fly with no fish, I also fished the french leader through the pools picking a odd fish of my one grayling close to 2lbs, it was Howard's first time on the beat he rose plenty of fish hooking several but coming off he managed to land a nice grayling i also took fish on the drys mostly coming up blind as no hatches coming off

River conditions were good, we caught 6no Barbel to 8lb & 1no Chub 4 1/2 lbs

Unfortunately the river was too high and we were washed off

First time on the Ithon and it was high and coloured and we had to work hard to catch any Grayling. Biggest Grayling around 1.5lbs.

Fished from early against high and rising water. We left at lunchtime but not before Mick (fishing as our guest) took a 24lb cock from Vanstone.
