1 small wild brown caught on Mayfly, returned. Beautiful beat

A large part of this it is a JUNGLE . I like tricky wild fishing but I got lost in there not sure if i was on the right beat or even the right river ... no fly life or rises so went downstream onto my club stretch found some rising fish and caught 2 on dries .
I know stretch bellow tower is great fished it few years back so disappointing

The weather was overcast and fairly cold, with a downstream breeze. The river was showing 12inches on the Brecon cam, but was falling from an earlier flood and so was still a little coloured. There was very little fly activity, just a few sporadic hatches and the fish were reluctant to show. Both trout fell to a small dry elk hair sedge.

Used worm, caught and took 1 rainbow trout.

nil return, water falling and gradually starting to clear throughout the day. Several fish showing at both Mill stream and Rectory pool late afternoon but not interested in my fly fishing effort so tried a s/h fc for the last run through but to no avail.
