five to heavily weighted march brown nymph and two fell for march brown cdc dry fly. a cold overcast day with not much happening at all ,water at a good level and a fair few march browns and ldo drifting by but other than a few rises the trout were not playing ball. all between 12-17 inches and returned safely .

First afternoon on this beat, lovely and a lovely piece of river. Started off on the duo but had no success so switched to czeck to get Doran a bit. Managed 2 on a size 16 ptn. I think when the weather walms and the river is slightly higher this will be a dinemite beat. The parking g is good but keep an eye out for the bulls
