Great day out. Some good barbel caught on pellet and feeder. River up about 1m and rising during the day. Great to see the smaller barbel coming through.

Water fast and colored. Few slack areas on near bank.

Hard to find the right gates on the farm . Farmer kindly let us drive down the river bank to deeper water and away from the noisy pump. All on pellets

River rising with nice colour, came up 18 inches in the day fish caught at regular intervals from top section

Only fished for one hour and caught 2 small barbel as the water was rising so quick we could not fish the beat

Good weather and water about .65m with colour. Elected to spin and landed a nice 9lb hen at rock. John also had a nice fish at the top pool. Both coloured and returned safely. John also had a half pound brown on a quill minnow which was also returned ok

STARTED FISHING AT ABOUT 10amIN BOTTOM POOL AND CAUGHT STRAIGHT AWAY BUT WITHIN 1 HOUR THE WATER ROSE 2 FEET AND HAD TO ABANDON POOL, AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR IT BECOME UNFISHABLE SO WE PACKED UP .

River very clear and low no fish caught on worm

River very coloured and had risen 3 feet overnight and continued to rise throughout the day, much debris coming down stream making presentation all but impossible. All barbel (5lb -7lb) came to flavoured meat very close in.
