First time on this beat and it’s really well looked after, incredibly picturesque and has some wonderful pools. Managed one Grayling on a nymph but it was definitely a worthy one - good size. Also a few out of season spotties as expected

A slow day in cooler wet conditions,Barbel fed for a couple of hours in mid afternoon then switched off as skys cleared and temperatures dropped.Great to spend the day in such stunning surroundings.

Wet and slippery morning. We baited and hopped in and out of five different swims but just couldn't find the fish, apart from loads of little taps, tugs and pulls real bites were hard to come by, we managed to save the blank with a couple of small Chub and one decent Barbel, all in all a pretty tough day.
