12,10 and 3 lbs on F/C. The grilse,though fresh ,was very thin which gives some cause for concern.
Fair numbers of fish still passing through the lower beats with the river on the high side for this part of the river.

Hard work, not much water and fish very spooky. Took two fish in deeper pockets on nymphs

fished from 6am till 11am nothing happening and no salmon seen

1 special little chublet saved me from a blank on caradoc today. Tried trotting for 4hrs in to different pegs and feeders fished 3 different pegs. I think the weather may have had something to do with it scorching. Just couldn't find there hear wave hiding places. So thanks mr/mrs chub you saved my bacon. JUST!

Good water conditions but the sun was a bit too mucb for me therefore I left early pm. All fish caught from faster water, some on dry flies, some on nymph. Thank you.

5 Trout, 4 Grayling

Very hot and river falling after last weeks good rise.. Water turned very brown in the afternoon heat.Very surprised to see coarse anglers on this beat lined up along Orchard pool......is this allowed on this beat? Disappointing to say the least.

Very hot day. No sign of salmon. Trout and grayling rose to sedges as the evening got under way.
