David and Anthony's fifth day of their Wye holiday.
Stretch was hard to find mainly because the vegetation was over the gate.
Its is impossible to drive your car down as the track is overgrown and therefore a long walk to the fishery and then an even longer walk to the swims further up or down the fishery, that said we fished most of the day at the bridge swims as they are the closest swims after a long walk and caught relatively well given we knew little of the fishery.
David caught 7 Barbel to 9lb 10 oz and Ant caught a last cast Barbel to keep on course for a Barbel caught every day
Barely alive after the walk back.

River in good condition, good flow. Slow start, initially fished bottom end boundary area with no luck. Moved to bottom field gate area and had 3 barbel from late morning, moved again in the afternoon to the upstream section after Foy Bridge and had another 3. All fish caught on ledgered pellet/PVA bag method.

Overcast and mild conditions.heavy rain making conditions under foot treacherous from 5pm.Many swims that i remember and caught barbel from in 2014 completely inaccessible due to bramble, nettle and himalayan balsam !! Many snags at meadow end now taking care of my end tackle. Very few bites at all on pellet/ pva bag/feeder also tried trundling with meat and trotting various swims. Disappointed with outcome on second visit. Take great care in some of these swims.one 2lbs eel meat late on.

Started near parking area in turbulent water. Lots of dace of bolo float. Moved at lunch upstream to slower glide and started on ground bait feeder. Had to wait till late in session when the barbel started feeding. Had four to 10lb. Another enjoyable day

7 barbel to 9.4 and 1 chub of 3 all on pellet-all caught during the evening session, which compensated for the very quiet earlier periods.
