River very low - 9" on the Gromain webcam. No salmon seen or caught.

3 Trout, 2 Chub

Water slightly coloured and faster following some rain upstream but fish didn't really switch on. However a nice quiet day with canoeists in the main quite considerate and polite. Feeder and pellets produced the fish we did catch

Small black and white dry fly , sunny and windy, river quite fast.

Brian Skinner had a fish of about 10lb from the pool by the bridge.Ian Williams did not catch. Saw two fish moving. Funny colour on the water

No fish caught today. River on the low side with some colour. Otter seen in the Llangoed pool

Second trip to this stretch in a couple of weeks. Currently proving difficult due to river conditions. A sunny day and low water did not combine well and just 2 chub to show for our efforts. Hopefully we will see some real rain soon.

Wonderful setting - peregrines, barn owls, kite, buzzards, barbel. Barbel, barbel and barbel all along. Reccomend a long landing net handle on some swims which are fairly high up with the lowish water.

Caught at top of beat on olive dun taken from surface. 5pm. 8 inch fish, released.

A good day. Most fish on various dries despite the lack of surface activity until 7pm whereupon the fish seemed to respond to the sedge hatch.
