Pleasant afternoon, conditions good. Encouraging fly life but very few rises. We both managed to hook 2 trout, one of which was a good size. However, didn't manage to land any!

Two of us fished hard from 11am to 6pm. We managed 7 trout (x5 on spiders and x2 on nymphs) and missed a few on dries. Unfortunately, we experienced another cold, downstream wind which probably explained the lack of fly life. We did notice a few LDO's and MB's towards the end of the day which brought up a few fish but they never really switched on. Nevertheless, a good time was had on such a beautiful and accessible stretch of river. Look forward to another visit when it warms up a bit.

Mick put me on the fish again but no takes. Five salmon showed in the beat. Lots of work done on steps and path ways.

Cold day had some nice fish on nymphs

Nothing caught, all very quiet. Water cold, trout were down. No rises all day.

Cold, windy and bright. River gin clear and quite low. No fly, no rises and no fish.

Cold, windy and sometimes wet day Did not see any fish. Back to winter?
