Had 3 chub on meat to approx 4lb. First cast lost big fish (probably a big barbel).

Great days sport. Barbel caught from top meadow and from woods. All in 6-8lb bracket. Feeder tactics with pellets proved successful.

Had a great day fishing on the open end feeder. Had bites pretty much all day. Chub were all around the 3lb mark and biggest Barbel was about 6lb. River conditions were fine - no weed or leaves coming downstream.

Enjoyable day but not a single bite on worm, no fish rising, weather misty to start then warm and clear skys

Foggy morning made for good conditions, had 5 barbel up to 1.00pm including the best of the day at 9.00lb. Went quiet once the sun burnt off the fog. Had the last 4 barbel in the final 2 hours.
Great days fishing.

Misty start, by 11am it lifted: rest of the day was sunny plenty of fly life blue duns mainly, grayling taking at all depths. 15 grayling landed and released 6 missed, Griffiths gnat, quill nymphs and spider patterns.
