1 colouring Salmon est 9lbs from Edw pool for Tomasz Fus, spinning. Fish showing in other likely places. Great day out, thank you.

1 Salmon

River still up about 2 feet, with lots of colour and flow. Very hot bright day. Only fished one swim, arrived at 9, first bite 12, fished throughout the afternoon until leaving at 5.30. A very enjoyable days fishing!

4 Barbel, 2 Chub

Bumped into BP from Pembridge who had just finished fishing the lower end of the beat, so I tried from the bridge parking at the top end fishing downstream wets & nymphs. Had 6 small trout & 1 decent grayling about 1.5lb just before the 'No Fishing' section.

6 Trout, 1 Grayling, 1 Other

10 lb salmon from tail of Bathing Pool at 10.30 am. Very slightly coloured. Full floater, size 6 Cascade-type fly. Llanstephan gauge at 22". Quite sunny and very bright in pm. No other takes or fish seen.

Arrived at about 8am and fished until dusk. River up by a couple of feet with lots of colour, clearing throughout the day. Lots of missed bites, I suspect Chub or Eels. Caught 8 average sized Chub, two Barbel (plus a third that was foul hooked) with the biggest and last fish of the day at 7lb 11oz and an Eel. I spent the day switching between the feeder with hemp, pellet and boilie and a straight lead with meat.
Stretch is very peaceful with plenty of space and good access and parking but the bottom field is a caravan club site at this time of year, so may be inaccessible.

Arrived with river in perfect condition /level. Had a red letter day using pellet and meat. Pellet in conjunction with a feeder and meat free lined. Had many chub and barbel. Fantastic day and will return soon.
Unfortunately did see several goosanders feeding.

Fished in the morning with three out of the four being caught in the morning. Used a gold headed nymph on which I caught all of them! Did not need to change the fly and was getting bites on almost every cast. I fished the lower part of the beat and worked my way upward. Most sucsess I got was towards the lower part of the beat with only one fish being caught in the evening up the beat.

Tried another swim for the day and caught 2 barbel and one chub, was super sunny and I left early as needed to get home too so probs didn't do it justice, also look out for some of the streamer weeds!

All fish between 8" and 16" taken with heavy nymphs. No fish rising river in perfect condition.
