A wonderful afternoon to end the season! River in good condition, low enough to access most swims comfortably and still falling with a bit of colour. Weather fine and reasonably warm. The barbel were feeding throughout this session and I eventually finished with 11, nearly all in the 5-7 lb range on halibut pellet.

Very good day on beautiful Wye for both of us. We had bites coming all day, it looks like high pressure and strong sun didn't have an impact on fish. Interestingly, pellets didn't work at all! We lost few fish in the snags, there are many of them there.
Perfect day!
