A milder night with water starting to fine down but water temp. still only 6c. Bright sunshine, air temp. only 10c.
Fished pegs just up stream from road side parking. Had a 6lb 5oz barbel first cast on 4oz feeder and 12mm halibut pellet. Both of us didn't have a bite for the rest of the day. Finished at 1.00pm a long way back to Boston.

Caught on a mix of methods. Worm, pop up worm on float and spinning. Weather was fantastic looking forward to another session over Easter break. Big shout out to the staff who had to deal with broken payment machine and did deal with all anglers who couldn't pay at machine well done lads.

Session cut short due to family emergency, 3 bites on my bottom fished work, three worms pinched, no fish caught, probably perch! Nothing on my spinner. Lovely calm morning but got chilly once the wind got up. Nice to see clean banks with little litter around, the cynic in me thinks that will soon change.

Bright and breezy day and water cold and clear. We managed 8 very healthy but lean trout, all taken on small nymph patterns and all safely returned.
