Bag limit reached on both days. Really good quality fish all taken on spinner (fly spoon style vibrax). Excellent sport.
Very annoying to see multiple anglers with more than one rod. They take up space and are not fair to other users. Been a fantastic year in 2013. Very well stocked.
Offering spinner fishing allows many a young angler to enjoy a day out an improve their casting skills and therefore draws in more business.
Quite simply the best stillwater in Wales.

Not easy, two barbel caught and a few chub, would have expected more as conditions seemed favourable. The barbel was 8lbs.

We fished just down stream of the end of beat marker. The river was running slow and clear, we fished feeders with 6mm pellets and 8mm on the hook. I had one, the other angler had 2 fished until 4pm.

Beautiful peaceful beat with good access although not for the fainthearted. Quite a few canoes but all the occupants were pleasant and respectful. The fish were not obliging even into the evening. A solitary chub about 2lb taken on a small spinner whilst looking for a pike.
