Love this beautiful beat, has something for everyone, stunning location and is really well maintained.

Stayed down the bottom end, starting in the big "cut out" peg. I've done well on here before but after a few hours for one chub, decided to find the deeper water downstream resulting in loads of chub and a cute barbel.

Post lunch, dropped into the swim before it shallows up with the nice glide and had a fantastic few hours on the float (a chubfest on meat).

Got absolutely soaked for an hour but as soon as the rain stopped, the bites started. Almost one a chuck on secret pellets, including 3 good barbel.

Once we found the beat! - suggest directions need updating!
Beautiful setting opposite the weir gardens in glorious sunshine.
River coloured. Ledgered and freelined luncheon meat and cheese lost several swim feeders to unseen underwater snags.

Bright conditions. River slightly coloured and fast flowing. All chub and most barbel falling to luncheon meat and feeder. Later barbel on pellet and feeder. 4 eels also caught on meat.
A very pleasant days fishing :)

Recent rains put colour in the water which might explain why halibut pellets didn’t attract bites but spiced meat got their attention.
No big beasts, chub to 3lb and barbel to 4.
Left a good bit of terminal tackle in riverbed snags including two ‘Bouncing Betty” weights which worked well until they bounced into snags!

4 Barbel, 9 Chub

Possibly the worst place i have ever tried to fish. There was no swims accessible and the only swims you could get too was around 10 feet above the water, so our nets would never reach. walked up and down for over 2 hours looking for a swim, trying to park my car was only in a couple of place where i wasn't blocked the path.
gave up and came home.
Would ask for a refund but i know you would never do that .
You should put on your website that you need a machete as part of your fish tackle
