Good day at Fownhope after blanking on our last couple of visits there. All barbel came between 6:00 and 7:15 like someone had clicked a switch! Very enjoyable session despite high winds and rain.

A good day. plenty of bites.

River just starting to rise and rain most of the day so pretty good conditions. The only issue was having a pike in the swim causing havoc all evening.

Difficult to find entry/access, similar to many spots on the Wye but had a great day fishing on this marvellous river.

How dissapointed were we to find How Caple Court was unfishable. All the entrace's to the river stopped with at least 10 foot drop to the water, not what I would call a swim. we decided for safety reasons not to fish.
