River is in poor condition, full of algae and sewage waste. Shame for what seems a lovely stretch of river.

Fished 12-9pm. Sporadic rises early afternoon and fish extremely wary. Long stretches of the river very shallow and seemed mostly devoid of activity. Found some groups of fish in some deeper glides under trees and the river came alive from 6pm onwards. Hatches of blue winged olive and some brook dun. Fish seemed to be mostly taking small stuff / emergers, but tempted several on small cdc Emerger patterns.

The river was very low and clear and needs a good flush through. However, we fished from dawn until dusk and caught most of our fish from the fast water at the bottom of the beat at dusk. Exciting stuff, touch-ledgering whilst standing in the river and the fish looked very healthy and certainly fought well. Thanks W&UF.

Amazing location and holds some of the best looking wild brown trout in Wales. A deep fished nymph on a long leader worked for me, fish to 1.5lb. These high altitude trout fight very hard for their size.

Just the one fish, a nice wild brown of 1lb+. Spectacular location. The water level was extremely low, with high winds also making it a chore to fish, but the scenery made up for it.
