River up but falling. Slow going but managed 5 barbel between us to specimen size.

Spent a very frustrating morning trotting shallow water with only two chub to show for my efforts.I found some fish later in the day in deeper slower water.Two bonus dace both over 8oz on corn. Many swims overgrown.

Bit of a recce for potential seatrout night fishing .
Good to see fish are moving up as I disturbed a 5-6 Lb fish out in the open in a temporary lie in only 1ft of water.
3 trout from the same place in the same pool in 3 casts !

I didn,t catch but helped another angler to land a stale fish around the 10lb mark, strangely this fish had some sort of lice on dorsal fin
Saw fish up in big pool

arrived midday as here all weekend. some swims are un fishable due to mud Bank to slippery. only about 6 swins fishable.
