Caught in spinners

Short session as Sunday Fishnic! on the bank with the family.
1030-1300.

River running very coloured from yesterday’s rain.
No rising fish.
Caught 1 brown trout on a nymph.

Walked quite a way down as there is no real access to the water due to barbed wire fence and thorn bushes between
///describes.salads.planet - ///jeering.ulterior.scraper

Lower section (from just above the double bank stretch to the road) very nice for a couple hours fishing

5 trout on nymphs from a coloured river. Biggest about 1 lb but did loose one a lot bigger.

Unfortunately after the recent storms, the river was pumping , high and completely brown with no visibility so really, un-fishable.

It felt like absolutely perfect conditions after the thunderstorms over the last few days. Caught some lovely brown trout. None of the biggies that I know are in here but I’ll be back again soon.

Brilliant dry fly fishing on a light wind. Lots of takes. All fish were caught on a sedge.
