Craig-y-Pystyll is the place to go if you want to fish for natural brown trout. Like Llyn Syfydrin, the fish are generally small but beautifully marked. It is around 200m above sea level with around 1.5miles of bank. It is only lightly fished due to its inaccessibility. Access is via a rough Forestry track which will take you to small parking / turning place, and then there is a 500yd walk to the nearest bank. Fly fishing, spinning and earthworm fishing are allowed on Craig-y-Pystyll .

This is part of Aberystwyth Angling Association waters, so a day ticket here is valid for all other Aberystwyth AA waters on that date.

A concessionary ticket is available for persons of state pension age and disabled anglers. Proof of eligibility must be carried with you to present to a Club representative if asked.
