Wonderful setting for this beat and good water to go with it.

Hindwell still flowing well and nice and cool. 5 trout on the nymph fished under a Klink.

Great to be back on the Wye, water low and warm. Fishing was not taken very seriously so nothing caught.

Was a chub a trot on meat and hemp in the bottom pool in the morning and then in the top rapids in the evening. Didn't fish the middle of the day as too hot (28 degs). Fish from 4oz to 4lb, all pristine. Literally caught loads, lost count. A proper match angler would probably have won the Wye champs today!
No barbel caught but the chub were stripping the boilies within 5 mins of it going in so they didn't really get a chance even if they were about.
Lots of salmon jumping too.

Couldn’t fish due to other people fishing and the canoes

Warm day and only able to fish mid morning to early afternoon. A bit of activity in the pools below the waterfall but only succeeded a trout of 2lb + away with my efforts. No catch to report. A lovely stretch of water.
