We had a nice time trying to catch some fish but unfortunately we did not catch any. So al the "0" 's above are real...
We used fly (sink), spinner, Toby, and powerbait. Not at the same time...
Despite the fact we did not catch any we had a few nice hours..

River low - little fly life. Salmon jumped (or huge trout!). Lovely stretch river. Still had a great day, despite few fish.

2 Trout

This report is for anglers CT and AW.

CT - 11 Barbel and 2 Chub

AW - 3 Barbel and 4 Chub, the "other" was an Eel

Very low and clear river, this made spotting the barbel a bit easier, having found a few flashing over the gravels, I fished rolling meat & took all fish on in the same swim.

Saw a few trout jumping. Caught a tint Dace on a nymph.

2 14" grayling to the net and 4 long distance releases plus a few nibbles. All on size 20 nymphs. Lovely spot and easy walking between the 2 permitted sections.

River still low but conditions for fishing were good with overcast sky. Fish were eager for food and between the three rods 76 Chubb & 6 Barbel were landed. The Barbel ranged from 4-6lb and most Chubb were a good size over 4lb but not 5lb Fish were in good condition although despite their size the Chubb looked lean. All fish caught on Luncheon meat or range of pellets.
