What a difference a few days makes down from mid 30's to mid teens (not that i'm complaining!). Rain and low cloud all day so conditions perfect!
Well over a dozen trout on wets mainly Bibio hopper with red legs. Hen harrier spotted hovering and there was a Cormorant there most of the day.

Problems finding the "fishing hut", looked like a derelict shed in the undergrowth and was badly overgrown. The stile is right next to it but not obvious. Needs signage.

Hopes were high as conditions looked good but we couldn’t find the barbel until late in the evening, and then just the one on the feeder.
The afternoon spent trotting was lovely though. A lovely beat with well maintained access to swims. Thanks.

Beautiful day but no fish. A few occasional rises but no take.

Fishing was very poor due to there being no fish in there paying good money to fish and it's not getting stocked they need to sort it out what a waste of time and money.

Fishing Passport Note : Welsh Water stick the Reservoir fortnightly.

We caught 18 Barbel up to 7lbs & 21 Chub between 2.8 & 4.8lbs.

Great beat, challenging wading. Fish caught in fast water with gold head pixie size 16.
