A Red letter day for me and my boy , little bit of extra water and coloured up nicely . Fished pellet all day and had some great fish . Started at 11am and fished thru to 19:30 , Love Whitney .

Not a bite !

River still low, Fished from 12-9, fish taken before and after the thunder the lightening. Had to reel in and shelter in the car as the lightening was right above me.

Love this beat, it always fishes hard but I keep coming back.

Fish caught on pellet feeder tactics.

Lovely day, 10 barbel, 6 chub, 6.2 million dace and a lightning storm that epically put a halt to proceedings.

All fish caught in wooded section. Luncheon meat and pellet.

Lovely beat with good access. Fishing was slow through the day but picked up during the evening. All fish caught using feeder with pellet/boilie. Will be back in the autumn.

Only fished for a few hours , time spent clearing out a peg below the croy and doing some strimming. We had a few hours float fishing for the chub

Came back after a successful visit last year. There seems to be a lot more snags this time, due to the very high levels over the winter no doubt.

Nevertheless a lovely place to be, unbelievably quiet due to the road closure too.
