In flood and unfishable. Not sure why you can’t carry over your wash off’s from the last week of the season to the following season ??

Booking Office Note: Wash Offs are non-transferable because this is the agreement that we have setup with fishery owners, and we cannot guarantee the fishery will remain in the Passport for the following year. Unfortunately, as described in the terms and conditions, this is one of the risks booking fishing towards the end of the season.

Torrential rain, high winds and coloured water made fishing futile.

It's been some time since I fished this beat and the beauty still astounds me almost as much as how quiet it is here. A lot more swims prepared too so will be returning no doubt. The river level was up by 4 to 5ft, a raging torrent strewn with weed, branches etc which perpetually fouled the line. Got soaked several times scouting other swims - funny how when I stepped out from beneath the brolly to do that the heavens opened!? No bites let alone a catch to report but will be trying again at earliest sensible opportunity.
It's gorgeous here....

Fished the top of the bend at the top of the beat. For the first time in the week it felt like we had half a chance as there was no weed coming through. Things still proved difficult however as the water was rising with a heavy flow, and we were on the outside of the bend. I fully expected the fish to be in the slack water on the inside bend. True enough when a couple of anglers turned up and fished opposite they had perhaps 10 barbel out between them. We managed just the two fish.

Once again the conditions were difficult as the river was rising rapidly making float fishing more difficult than normal.
Nice easy access and a good choice of swims. We had some lovely roach up to 1lb 5 ozand barbel to 9lb 10oz.
excellent days fishing.

Did not fish as the heavy rain and high water had made the banks extremely difficult to safely negotiate.

Same comment as previous report. Swims are not safe enough to negotiate in poor weather and high water conditions so did not fish

A couple of salmon anglers who were guests of the landowner were leaving as we arrived in the rain. The river was coloured and rose steadily throughout the day. We persevered with heavy nymphs for a while but no fish were caught.
