Fished from 11:00 to 15:00, caught just the one trout (returned). Two other anglers had similar luck. Hot day but nothing significant hatching. Saw a few fish but they weren't feeding. River level was 0.62m at the Pont Gadwyni station which was OK for wading, lower would be preferable.

A blank day! Fished around the whole reservoir with just a single pull to show for my efforts. Loads of dead frogs seen in the margins.

Low and clear, bright sunshine. 1 oos grayling on a dry in a slower pool, 4 trout all on nymphs in fairly fast water, one very nice fish. No hatches, saw just a few small olives coming off and a few splashy rises. Conditions not easy but a lovely quiet day on this very pretty and varied beat.

Dry sunny, warm, and breeze from east – low water. Hatch of olives – MB/BWO’s. Difficult accessing water (slippery), and difficulty from left bank only! When I managed to present a dry fly to a couple they took, with some big refusals ;-). Later they took on traditional spider team on little pocket water there was! Trout were beauts from 10'-14'.
