2 Trout

Caught eight fish , mostly on the lower part of the beat two nymphs including two browns.Once we were on the middle part of the beat by mid afternoon the dam had released water so coloured the water and made it unfishable. Grayling to 12 inches
WUF note: Dam water is invariably clear if a little peaty, colour will have come from tributaries

1 Barbel, 1 Chub

Very slow day,river low & fish not in usual places
Caught most fish at the end of the day on meat & pellet ledgering

5 degrees and felt colder with the fog which didn't lift until after midday. A hard slog with very few bites in spite of trying several swims. 1 barbel around 7lbs, 2 chub and a trout all on meat.

Very cold overnight with fog until around midday then bright sun, so not the best of conditions. Banks in treacherous state following recent flooding, also got fed up with being zapped by electric fence, no room to walk along bank in places!
Missed a couple of good bites but that was my lot, decided to pack in early, you just know when it’s not your day!

River up and a bit coloured from the recent rain. Fished a few hours, 2 grayling one of which was my personal best so delighted.

Some nice chub and a few barbel caught today. All fish came from one swim using pellets and feeder.
