I didn’t find access too easy. It’s a fair hike to find rare spots where you can get down to the river, unless I missed something.
Crystal clear water and beautiful surroundings but it was gloomy and light rain most of the day.
Two lovely looking fish both caught on PTN. 6 & 10 inches.

It's been a very cool and cloudy day. There was some fly activity during the afternoon and some small trout were rising. I caught a sea trout - which leapt about vigorously... and got off!

Weather atrocious and river somewhat coloured so no dry fly action. Caught and released all fish on size 16 hare and copper beadhead fished with small wool indicator. Very nice beat, just wish the conditions had been better.

Weather poor with 20mph gusty wind and light rain. Temp 11deg and river .74m and rising with a fair bit of colour. Fished from top of beat to bridge on the woodside spinning. No takes and no Salmon seen.
Reverted to other side at rock and John continued spinning for Salmon whist I fished dry for trout and landed a lovely brown trout of 1.25lb from midstream opposite the Chine, taken on a size 12 dark olive.
John hooked a half pound trout spinning but it came off
Prolific hatch of all types of olive and the occasional mayfly but the brisk wind and low temperature meant no rises after 8pm.
