Slow start. Mayfly hatch around 3pm when trout were caught using a smallish mayfly imitation.
Weather overcast with sunny intervals. A beautiful stream and a great day.

First ever 2 grayling ! On soft hackle dry ,missed many in bright conditions during 3 hr hatch window, river in good condition after weekend storm, still going down. Both fish in good condition 1- 2 lbs.many thanks for an entertaing few hours. Will be back soon hopefully.
