Freezing cold with moderate wind. Many tea breaks taken. No salmon to be seen...tried everything. Only 1 trout about 1/2 kg on nymph.

Very cold windy day nothing showing on the surface, 2 caught on PTN at the wall end which was the only interest I had all day.

A cold wind blowing down the river on a grey day. Certainly some fly life coming off but hardly saw a rise all day. Managed to get one nice, fully finned little trout on a duo nymph - saved my day! Safely returned. Nice to be out on the river despite the conditions. Thanks WUF.

Not much about. No fly or fish to see. Only gave it a couple of hours as cold and breezy.

River in perfect condition, seen pike following lure, no sign of salmon

Not easy going as we did not see any fish rising. Those caught were size 4-6', upstream nymph, all put back. Nice work with bank clearing at the bottom. Thank you.

A rather disappointing day. Lowish river and water still very cold. I usually see one or two fish here, particularly from the high banks but today, no sign of fish at all. Tried deep fishing beaded GRHEs and PTNs but nothing at all interested. Roll on some warmer days.
