Great days sport on Home, stunning surroundings. river in perfect condition, good level and dropping, lovely colour, no debris from recent flood, fish active through out the beat. 11 barbel to 8lb6oz and 15 chub to 4lb. 1 eel.

The river was in a great condition with a little colour. The banks are still a little overgrown as it’s early on and a bit slippery as testament to me falling on my arse.

I’ve always wanted to fish this beat but never got round to it , finally here !
Great access to the river and parking , probably one of the most picturesque venues on the river wye .
Fished from 2pm till 10 with bites becoming more frequent into the evening as you’d expect , an absolute joy fishing here can’t wait to come back .
