No fish caught or seen but I did have quite a big knock in Chapel catch, probably just a decent trout but it was near where I’ve had a salmon before so it got me wondering..... River in fine form, good clarity and not too big a flow. Loads of March browns hatching but didn’t see any trout rising. Had a fleet of canoes go past.....don’t think they should have been there but could be wrong.

8 x trout 8-16 inches, including three nice fish over 15 inches, on March Brown Jingler, Hare's Lug and Plover, Dark Moorgame. A nasty cold wind today, but a few fish reacted to a hatch of March brown with a few large dark olives around 12.30.
