High river could not have fished without Micks guidance on where it was safe to wade and fish.

Great beat,had 5 small trout off the top all with small green Olive! 1 Grayling on a small tungsten bug!
People camping on the lower end of the beat,three rods already fishing!!?

5 Trout, 1 Grayling

Fished up,for a couple of hours and didn't see a fish. Neither rising nor spooked. Gave up and whilst walking back noticed a surprisingly fresh trail through the undergrowth and the car that was parked at the start had gone. Wonder if we had had a visitor?
Never mind. Still a lovely beat. Looking forward to next season.

One brown trout about a 1lb and a decent grayling about 1.5lb rest of the grayling 8 to 10 inches. Very good day most fish on dry fly, great day

Last day of a four day blast on the WUF. Fished about half way up and all fish caught to a dry Adam Para. Thanks WUF for a great weekend.

Fished the day mostly for salmon with no fish we did fish for trout and grayling 3 fish taken on the french leader and all the rest on drys olive patterns

6 Barbel

Had a stuttery pull in Bridge but didn't connect on the lift. Also had a pull at the tail of rocks by the yellow post, connected briefly, then off. A few trout hung themselves. Didn't see any salmon except below the wires on bridge where a couple of residents threw themselves out.

Fished Lady Alexanders as a break from Rectory for an hour or so. Great water at 1'10" but no pulls and no fish seen.
