Went down for a look rather than a fish. High water running fast and fairly brown. Surprised to catch a 12oz brownie on a march brown.

Very high, coloured and fast as to be expected - but should have cancelled - but having booked and passing through, thought I’d give it a go! Perhaps give it another try in better conditions

Water at a great height - slightly to coloured - only fished the afternoon. Nothing seen, but lovely to get on the water

River running high and rising, nothing to report

River had risen bit but conditions were still pretty good. My first visit to this beat so it was a bit of a recky day. Some lovely fly water but sadly no fish seen or caught

River steady despite recent rain. Two takes (hooked fished but not landed unfortunately - second seems quite sizeable).

River running high and coloured, hatch in the afternoon but didn't see a single rise. No luck on nymphs. Heavy rain in the afternoon so headed to the Bell.

five to heavily weighted march brown nymph and two fell for march brown cdc dry fly. a cold overcast day with not much happening at all ,water at a good level and a fair few march browns and ldo drifting by but other than a few rises the trout were not playing ball. all between 12-17 inches and returned safely .
